The WX5X140 GE Filter Housing Wrench is used to remove the canister or sump on single stage GE filter systems, reverse osmosis systems and dual stage filtration systems. GE recommends that you only hand tighten your housing sump and do not use this GE WX5X140 Housing Wrench to tighten your water filter housing sump. You can cause tremendous damage to your o-rings if you over-tighten your housing sump.
