The 3M Aqua-Pure AP917R Water Filter is a replacement filter cartridge for the 3M Aqua-Pure AP903 Whole House Filter System. It is one of the best whole house water filter cartridges on the entire water filter market. The 3M Aqua-Pure AP917R water filter features high flow rates up to 20 gallons per minute (GPM) using 1" FNPT inlet/outlet water line connections.
The 3M Aqua-Pure AP917R is a carbon block filter which reduces the bad taste and odor of chlorine as well as sediment and other impurities (dirt, rust, etc) down to the 5 micron level. This whole house water filter cartridge has a 100,000 gallon capacity or up to one year life which reduces the multi-year replacement required with most water filter cartridges. In addition to providing your home with high quality filtered water, the advanced filtration of this whole house water filter cartridge will extend the life of all your household appliances which are connected to the water line.
