The 3M CFS6090-C is a water treatment system designed to reduce scale build-up on the following:

The 3M Cuno CFS6090-C Water Softening Filter System is also designed to maintain efficient brewing machine operations. This espresso water softening system uses premium activated carbon to reduce chlorine taste and odor. This chlorine reduction system has 3/8 inch National Pipe Thread (NPT) vertical ports. This water softener system has a capacity of 700 grains.
