The Hydronix part HDG-P117 is a compatible replacement for the Aqua-Pure AP117 2 Pack Premium Chlorine Taste & Odor Filter. While the AP117 activated carbon water filter is sold as a 2 pack, the HDG-P117 filter is sold in single units. With its 5 micron rating, the Aqua Pure AP117 improves the taste of drinking water by reducing contaminants like sediment, chlorine, sand, odor, rust, and dirt particles.
This 5 micron filter should only be used with cold water and is a replacement for any standard size (9 3/4" x 2 5/8") small diameter 5 micron filter, such as Ametek, American Plumber, GE, Pollenex, Sears and WaterPik.
