This is a AquaClear 50 Zeo-Carb Aquarium Filter Insert Pack (A614) for use in the AquaClear 50 Aquarium Filter System (A610). The AquaClear Zeo-Carb filter pack contains a combination of activated carbon and ammonia remover - it is used as the Stage 2 chemical filter media in the AquaClear 50 Aquarium Power Filter System. The AquaClear Zeo Carb filter is a substitute Stage 2 filter for both the AquaClear 50 Carbon Pack and AquaClear 50 Ammonia Remover Pack.
The AquaClear ZeoCarb filter pack replacement for the AquaClear 50 Power Filter absorbs unwanted odors, discolorations, and impurities as well as prevents the build up of toxic ammonia and nitrite in your aquarium. The activated carbon portion of the Zeo-Carb filter reduces the amount of particulate matter for a healthier and cleaner aquarium while also removing any remaining trace amounts of chlorine and improving water clarity. Working with the activated carbon portion of the Zeo Carb filter, the ammonia removal portion of AquaClear Zeo-Carb filter helps your aquatic pets to better thrive.
The AquaClear 50 Zeo-Carb pack gradually becomes inactive and should be replaced about twice a month to better maintain water quality in your aquarium. This AquaClear Zeo-Carb replacement filter pack is also known by Hagen part number A614. It is for use in freshwater aquariums only.
