The Costguard CG5-10S 10" Carbon Water Filter is a carbon block water filter that fits several models of water filter systems, including the Costguard CGS-10 and Costguard CGS-12. This 10" carbon filter is manufactured with a phosphate scale inhibitor that prevents the formation of scale deposits on heating elements, evaporator plates, valves, fitting, and piping. The Costguard CG5-10S directly replaces the Everpure EV9108-17 for your convenience.
This Costguard carbon block water filter features a high dirt-holding capacity that reduces the taste and odor of chlorine in your drinking water. In addition, this water filter is FDA-compliant, making it a versatile option to use in residential, food service, commercial, and industrial applications. This filter cartridge has a filter life capacity of 6,000 gallons and should be replaced every 6 to 12 months depending on usage.
