This Crane Drop Shape Humidifier Filter (HS-3161) is a replacement demineralizing humidifier filter cartridge made specifically for Drop Shape Crane humidifiers. It helps to reduce the build up of white dust mineral deposits in Crane Drop Shape humidifiers caused by hard water in your local area.
Under conditions of normal use this dimineralizing Crane humidifier filter cartridge should be changed approximately every 1-2 months and/or 30-40 fillings. The Crane Drop Shape humidifier replacement filter is very easy to install - after replacing the filter you should wait about 15 minutes for the water in the humidifier to again pass through the filter before restarting it. Once the green indicator light on your Crane humidifier comes on it will show that enough water is in the base and that your new humidifier filter is ready to function.
