The Doulton W9121750 - Super Sterasyl Candle w/ Carbon is a ceramic filter candle featuring a granular activated carbon (GAC) core and Sterasyl ceramic outer shell. This ceramic filter attaches to filter housings through its domed end and plastic mount. This Doulton filter features three stages of filtration and reduces suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria, and organic chemicals, while also improving the taste and odor of water.
