The GeneralAire 1042 Legacy Series Humidifiers allows a portion of the heated air from the furnace to pass through a water-soaked pad where it absorbs additional moisture to distribute throughout the air in your home. Water is metered into the GeneralAire KineticFlo Trough and then dispersed evenly across the pad. Unevaporated water drains from the bottom of the unit in order to eliminate mineral build-up.
