The GeneralAire LT016 Air Cleaner UVC Lamp Kit is the correct replacement component for the following General Air Purification Systems:
- GeneralAir TERSus 1200 Air Purification System
- GeneralAir TERSus 2000 Air Purification System
The General Aire 4564 is an air cleaner UVC lamp kit which will kill disease-causing airborne virus, bacteria and mold on contact. These UV lamps are powerful enough to be used by hospitals to prevent the spread of influenza, hepatitis, turberculosis, pneumonia and other contagious diseases. Two (2) UVC Lamps are required for the GeneralAir TERSus 1200 and GeneralAir TERSus 2000 Aire Purification Systems.
The GeneralAir TERSus 1200 and 2000 Air Purification Systems both consist of a 3-part air cleaning process: 1) The MERV 13 Electrostatic Particle Filtration which removes up to 94.2% of microscopic airborne particles; 2) The Ultraviolet Disinfection containing dual U.V. lamps to kill disease-causing airborne virus, bacteria, and mold on contact; and 3) the PhotoCatalytic Purification, which destroys toxic chemicals and odors. No Ozone is generated in this process, and the system only costs pennies per day for operation.

The GeneralAire TERSus 1200 and TERSus 2000 Air Purification Systems should be cleaned and maintained on a regular basis for best results and peak performance. Air filters in this General Air system must be replaced every six (6) months, and the UV lamps must be replaced every twelve (12) months.
