The Hunter 44272 thermostat is compatible for use with the following heating/cooling systems:

- AC or battery power
- 2 and 3 wired hot water/radiator systems
- Single-stage or multi-stage heat pump systems with auxiliary heat
The Hunter Universal 44272 Programmable Thermostat is a universally compatible thermostat that offers you full control over your heating and cooling system. This universal programmable thermostat can be easily installed and programmed, and has four programming periods for the week and weekend with additional settings for when you sleep, wake, and leave the house.
This digital thermostat can be installed in approximately five minutes and has several use features, including a filter change indicator, permanent override, and an Eco-Glo backlight for easier reading.
