Hydronix 10" Big Blue String Filter is the same economical filter as the Liquatec SWF-45-1010 Filter. This 100% polypropylene fiber cord filter has a higher flow rate and dirt holding capacity than standard size string sediment filters. Also known as part number SWC-45-1010 the Hydronix Big Blue filter effectively reduces waterborne contaminants such as scale, sand, dirt, rust and silt. This 10 micron rated water filter is ideal for commercial and residential applications using municipal and well water.
The Hydronix string wound water filter fits most Big Blue filter housings requiring 10" Big Blue sediment cartridge media. Do not use this Hydronix string sediment filter with water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without proper disinfection. Various wound patterns for different micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the right product for your particular application. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SWF-45-1010 filter, this Hydronix String Wound Cartridge also replaces the Pentek 355215-43 filter.
