Hydronix 10" Big Blue String Filter is the economical equivalent of the Liquatec SWF-45-1020 Sediment Filter. Also known as part number SWC-45-1020, this water filter reduces particles up to 20 microns. The Hydronix Big Blue string filter has a higher flow rate and dirt holding capacity than standard size string filters. Various wound patterns for different micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the right product for your specific application. This filter is ideal for residential and commercial applications.
In addition to replacing the Liquatec SWF-45-1020 filter, this Hydronix String Wound Cartridge also replaces the Pentek 355216-43 and Watts SF20-10-425 filter. Constructed with 100% polypropylene fiber cord, this water filter effectively reduces waterborne contaminants such as dirt, sand, rust, silt and scale. Do not use this Hydronix string wound filter with water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without proper disinfection prior to and after system. It is suitable for using with municipal and well water.
