The Hydronix 10" Big Blue String Filter is the same economical filter as the Liquatec SWF-45-1030 Sediment Filter. This water filter reduces particles up to 30 microns and effectively reduces waterborne contaminants such as dirt, silt, sand, scale and rust. The Hydronix string wound filter is constructed with 100% polypropylene fiber cord and is ideal for commercial and residential applications.

Also known as part number SWC-45-1030, this Big Blue string water filter has a higher flow rate and dirt holding capacity than standard size string sediment filters. Different wound patterns for various micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the right product for your specific application. This sediment filter is suitable for using with municipal and well water. Do not use this Hydronix SWC-45-1030 filter with water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without proper disinfection.
