Hydronix 10" Big Blue String Wound Filter is the same economical filter as the Liquatec SWF-45-1005 Filter. This string wound filter effectively reduces waterborne contaminants such as scale, sand, dirt, rust and silt. Also known as part number SWC-45-1005, this 100% polypropylene fiber cord filter features a higher flow rate and dirt holding capacity over standard size string wound sediment filters. Do not use this Hydronix string filter with water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without adequate disinfection.
In addition to replacing the Liquatec SWF-45-1005 filter, this Hydronix String Wound Filter also replaces Pentek 355214-43 and Watts SF5-10-425 filter. Various wound patterns for different micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the right product for your particular application. This 5 micron rated filter is ideal for commercial and residential applications using municipal and well water.
