The Hydronix 30" Sediment Filter Cartridge is the economical replacement for the Liquatec 5 Micron 30" Sediment Filter. This 100% polypropylene water filter cartridge, also known as part number SDC-25-3005 is widely used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters. The graded density of the Hydronix sediment filter provides a higher dirt holding capacity over standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SDF-25-3005, the Hydronix 30" polypropylene filter replaces the Pentek 155228-43 and Watts FPMB5-30 water filter cartridge.
With four layers, outside-in flow and step-by-step 5 micron rating, this cartridge water filter effectively retains particles while extending the life with a lower pressure drop. The Hydronix 30" sediment filter is ideal for a variety of residential, commercial, industrial and food service applications. The Hydronix 5 micron filter is surfactant free, binder free and adhesive free. Do not use this sediment filter cartridge with microbiologically unsafe water without adequate disinfection.
