The Hydronix 40" String Wound Filter is an economical replacement for the Liquatec SWF-25-4050 Water Filter. Constructed from 100% polypropylene fiber media cord, this filter can be used with municipal or well water. It effectively reduces waterborne contaminants such as silt, sand, dirt, sediment and scale. Also known as PP Filter or part number SWC-25-4050, the Hydronix filter reduces particles as small as 50 microns.
Without adequate disinfection, do not use water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality. With a high flow rate and dirt holding capacity, this string filter is ideal for residential and commercial applications.
