The Hydronix 20" Big Blue Carbon Filter (Hydronix CB-45-2005) is a carbon block cartridge replacement built with a 5 micron rating that will help reduce contaminants sometimes found in water. This 20" carbon block filter can be used in several different applications, such as the food service industry, commercial and industrial sites, as well as in residences as a whole house filter. The Hydronix CB-45-2005 can serve as a replacement for the Liquatec CB-450-20-05, Pentek 155583-43, and Watts MAXETW-FF20.
Aside from its 5 micron rating, this carbon filter boasts high purity coconut shell carbon, allowing it reduce impurities found in water, such as odor and contaminants, while also improving its taste. This coconut carbon filter can reduce contaminants like rust, dirt, and carbon fines, and also reduce high levels of chlorine. This is accomplished by it replacing GAC filters (Granular Activated Carbon) and PAC (Powdered Activated Carbon) filters.
