The Hydronix ICF-6Q is a 6" coconut carbon filter with a 1/4" Quick Connect port. Depending on individual usage and water quality, Hydronix inline filter cartridges have a lifespan of approximately 2000 gallons. For the average application, this means you should change your activated carbon filter cartridge once per year.
These GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) water filter cartridges easily install on most water lines. Designed to withstand temperatures from 35-100 degrees farenheit, inline carbon water filters are well suited for use with ice makers, coffee makers, refrigerators and reverse osmosis systems. Filtering to 5 microns, this inline carbon filter effectively removes sediment as well as unpleasant taste and odor from water.
