The Hydronix 10" Big Blue Pleated Filter is the same cost effective filter as the Liquatec SPF-45-1001. Also known as part number SPC-45-1001, this 1 micron filter is resistant to chemicals and bacteria. It reduces waterborne particles and contaminants such as sand, rust, silt and sediment. Made from durable non-woven polyester, this pleated filter has a high dirt holding capacity that extends the time between filter replacements.
With a flow rate of 30 gallons per minute, this sediment pleated filter is ideal for a variety of residential, industrial and commercial applications. The polypropylene core is surrounded by a pleated media. For added strength, the ends of this sediment filter are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol that fuses the three components together by forming a unified end cap and gasket. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SPF-45-1001, this Hydronix 20" sediment filter also replaces the Pentek 255489-43 and Watts FM-BB-10-1.

This Hydronix Big Blue Pleated water filter is durable, washable and reusable. It fits Big Blue Filter Housings requiring a 10" Big Blue media. Double check the size of your filter prior to purchasing. This is a superior pleated filter that should not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. The temperature capacity ranges from 40 degrees to 125 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 to 51.7 degrees Celsius).
