Hydronix 20" Big Blue Pleated Filter is the economical replacement for the Liquatec SPF-45-2005. Made from durable non-woven polyester this sediment filter is a cost effective solution for a variety of industrial, commercial and residential applications. The Hydronix Big Blue water filter reduces contaminants like rust, sand, silt and sediment. Resistant to bacteria and chemicals, this pleated filter reduces waterborne particles as small as 5 microns.
The pleated media around a polypropylene core adds strength and the ends are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol. The polypropylene core of this sediment cartridge is surrounded by a pleated media and has high dirt holding capacity that extends the time between filter replacements. This pleated water filter is durable, washable, reusable and has a temperature capacity ranging from 40 degrees to 125 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 to 51.7 degrees Celsius). In addition to replacing the Liquatec SPF-45-2005, this Hydronix 20" sediment filter also replaces the Pentek 255494-43 and Watts FM-BB-20-5.
