The Hydronix 20" Big Blue Pleated Filter is the cost effective replacement for the Liquatec SPF-45-2010. Resistant to bacteria and chemicals, this sediment pleated filter reduces waterborne particles as small as 5 microns. Also known as part number SPC-45-2010, the Big Blue filter also reduces waterborne contaminants like sand, rust, silt and sediment. This pleated filter is durable, washable, reusable and has a temperature capacity ranging from 40 degrees to 125 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 to 51.7 degrees Celsius).
Constructed from durable non-woven polyester, this sediment cartridge is an economical solution for a variety of industrial, commercial and residential applications. The polypropylene core of this sediment cartridge is surrounded by a pleated media and has high dirt holding capacity that extends the time between filter replacements. The pleated media around a polypropylene core adds strength and the ends are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol.
