The Liquatec Coconut Carbon Inline Filter (IAC-10Q) is a coconut shell granular activated carbon filter (also known as a GAC filter). Coconut shell GAC water filters reduce the unpleasant taste and odor of chlorine as well as sediment to deliver filtered drinking water to your refrigerator or other application.

There are no additional fittings needed for this filter because it comes with 1/4" quick connect (QC) fittings (also known as push to connect fittings). This inline activated carbon water filter is also available with a 1/4" female NPT (FNPT) basic fitting. This granular activated carbon coconut filter is compatible with cold water lines only, and the water filter must be protected against freezing.
