This Pentek WS-20 Water Softening Filter Cartridge Replacement is a 20 inch filter used in many water filter systems to soften water and inhibit scale. The Pentek 155320-43 is a standard diameter filter (2 1/2").
This advanced Pentek Water Softening filter replacement cartridge is specifically made to reduce the bad taste and odor of hard water. It also removes or reduces sediment, dirt, rust, and other impurities. This water softening filter uses a bed of sodium form cation resin beads to reduce water hardness and scale deposits.

I use this filter in the camper, it works great to keep the rust out of the shower, then just toss it at the end of the year!
