The Pentek BBF1-20MB Deionization Water Filter is a high-capacity,
semi-conductor grade resin cartridge that is ideal for use in pharmaceutical,
medical, and cosmetics laboratories as well as circuit board printing
applications.
The PCF Series cartridges have been developed in response to the requirements
for deionized water in many industries. The BBF1-20MB is manufactured using
FDA-compliant resin that minimizes the total organic carbon (TOC) level and the
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) level. Also known as part number 155281
and 155281-43.

What is deionized water?
Deionized water
is water that lacks ions, such as those from sodium, calcium, iron, and copper.
Deionized water often comes from some sort of ion exchange process. Similar to
distilled water, deionized water is useful in scientific experiments due to the
fact that ions in water can cause chemical reactions or interference.
