Pentek GS-10als Inline Water Filter features 1/4 inch FPT that connect to your water line to provide you with great tasting water. The GS-10-als is NSF Certified & Tested for the removal of Lime, Scale, Chlorine taste & odor. Part number 255595-43.

This filter needs to be replaced at least every 6 months or when taste & odor return to water. Pipe connector/adaptors not included.

LIME REMOVAL-NOT

Lime ONLY precipitates with CO2 - CARBON DIOXIDE - and then can be filitered out of solution.
However,Calcium Carbonate & Bicarbonate that causes 'Hard Water' is made from Calcium oxide(LIME) & IS ONLY then filterable.
