Pentek, Ametek P5, American Plumber W5P

The Ametek, Pentek, US Filter P5, American Plumber W5P Whole House Filter Cartridge removes extra fine sand, dirt, silt, rust, and scale particles from your household water. The W5P is made of spun bonded-polypropylene that is designed for purity and chemical compatibility and will resist chemical and bacterial attack.

The W5P is also known as part number P5 by Culligan, Ametek, Pentek and US Filter. Part number 155014 American Plumber.

The P5 is also a direct replacement for the Kenmore 38480 filter and the Honeywell RF-60 Filter as well as the Waterpik IR-20.

The Ametek, Culligan, Pentek, Pentair P5 filter is used in the following filter systems.

  • Culligan HF-150, HF-160, HF-360, and RO-2127
  • Ametek, US Filter, and Plymouth #10 Blue and #10 Clear

The P5 Water filter is a replacement for the following parts as well:

  • Ametek, Culligan, Kleen-Plus, US Filter - P5
  • American Plumber - W5P
  • Ace Hardware - 45331
  • MasterPlumber True Value 529-286
  • Flotec RS3
  • GE FXUSC

The American Plumber W5P Specifications:

  • 5 Micron Rating
  • Reduces extra fine sand, rust, dirt, silt, scale particles
  • 2 3/8" x 9 7/8" cartridge
  • 8,000 gallon filter capacity
  • Flow Rate: 5 GPM @ 0.2 psi drop
  • Replacement for GE FXUSC

The W5P, Pentek P-5 needs to be changed every 2 months and can be used for whole house filter systems or reverse osmosis filter systems. Ideal for use with well water.
