As anti-bottled water as we are here at Filters Fast, I do agree with you that it shouldn’t be taxed. Though many might say that a tax would dissuade people from purchasing bottled water, I do not think that would be the case (just as taxes on alcohol or cigarettes do not, as a whole, stop people from purchasing them). And if the tax is not turning people away from bottled water and on to a more eco-friendly solution, then why bother?

We cannot live without water or air so this boils down to taxing our very existence. What’s next taxing the air we breathe? (I think their doing that too, its called carbon credits…) This is just another grab of our hard earned money from big government. NO, taxation is theft no mattered how its dressed up. Wake up people!
