Hey Jake,

We believe entirely that people should be concerned about the cleanliness of their water. But can you really argue that you can filter your water in your own home for far less than the cost of bottled water, in most cases?

Far too many people drink bottled water because it's all too convenient, or they get caught up in drinking high-end brands like Perrier and Evian because of the status assoc iated with them.

You say yourself on Boreal's Facebook page that effective bottled water package "looks attractive, impresses with its creativity and is just nice to have on the shelf."

I could care less how my water looks on the shelf, or how creative a label it sports. Studies have shown that it's quite likely that beautiful and creative "package" will inevitably end up in a landfill, where it will take about 1,000 years to degrade.

My filtered tap water might not have a star like Queen Latifah behind it, and it might not have a really cool label or slogan attached to it.

But you know what? It's affordable and it's clean. What more can you ask for?

If it is so worthless then why is bottled water contributing to a major share in the global soft drinks industry? I'll tell you why... because awareness among people about consuming safe water is increasing! You should know this! Filtering water and bottling water go hand in hand.
