We are proud to support the Xtreme Hike for a Cure and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), which is dedicated to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis, the most fatal disease among children and young adults. On Saturday April 20, 2013, our President Ray Scardigno and Team FiltersFast will participate in a 33.4 mile hike on the famous Appalachian Trail in North Carolina to raise money and awareness towards a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

To do our part in finding a cure for this chronic disease, we will donate $1 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for every order placed on Thursday March 7, 2013. This special event starts Midnight Thursday and will end at 11:59 PM EST Thursday night. Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States. Did you know that cardiovascular disease claims the lives of nearly 500,000 American women each year? To raise awareness about this serious issue, the American Heart Association created the Go Red For Women social initiative in 2004. This program is designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health, as well as band together and collectively to wipe out heart disease.
