Filtering spraypaint fumes with water?

Hey I read a post a year or so ago, where someone was able to take a vent, and rig it to where he was able to filter spraypaint fumes with water. I was curious if anyone had any input of how to do this..

They use wet paint booths with a wall of water falling into the paint fume flow. Should be fairly simple to design.
