Default To Filter for Flora ??

I am growing hardy orchids which require RO water. I am also growing other plants that require de-chlorinated water. I have been using Seachem Lab's Prime and their new ultra cheep water purifier, Safe™ to do the job. I use a lot of water no less then 200 gals a day in the summer and about 50 gallons a day during the rest of the year. I see filtersfast has a carbon filter for garden use. This brings me to the question, are there any benefits to mechanical versa chemical dechlorinatetors?
