I just purchased a Crystal Quest Eagle whole house system.
All 3 of the filter canisters leak and it appears that o-rings are to thin, do not seal. Customer service was zero help, suggested I look around for better o-rings:eek: Glad to here any suggestions here. |

We had the exact same problem with the Crystal Quest stainless steel canisters. The gaskets flop around inside the cavity and they do not form a seal at all. Tech support told our plumber to use pipe dope, but of course that is a mickey mouse solution and that didn't work. I think they have some kind of manufacturing problem since you ran into the same problem that we had. We are having them send us a replacement. I hope that the new unit they are sending us won't have this problem. I'm not sure what they are thinking by sending these defective units out to their customers.

Well, I used nature's own and it's been great so far. I've never really tried Crystal Quest though.
