Question Kenmore Model 363.8587711

My model number is 363.8587711, Kenmore 27, mfg date 3/1988. I don't think this thing has a filter! Can I put one inline, we have copper from the wall to the fridge, and plastic line from the botton of the fridge to the top of the fridge. Can I put an inline filter in the plastic tubing?

After looking up your model number for your refrigerator, it does not appear that your refrigerator has a filter installed. You can certainly install a filter on your water line going into the refrigerator depending upon what size your water line is. We have inline filters for 1/4" and 3/8" plastic water lines. Here are a few recommendations based on your water line size:

1/4"
IF-35 http://www.filtersfast.com/IF-35-Wat...er-filters.asp
QC10-CBR (Push Fit) http://www.filtersfast.com/Pentek-QC...ter-System.asp (mount included)

3/8"
K2586-KK http://www.filtersfast.com/Omnipure-...ine-Filter.asp
QC10-CBR (Push Fit) http://www.filtersfast.com/Pentek-QC...nch-Filter.asp (mount included)

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you for choosing Filters Fast!
