GE RO -Water pressure low - changed all filters - still no luck

Hi-
We have a GE Smartwater Reverse Osmosis System ( Model # GXRV10ABL01). We have an under sink unit with the storage tank...it is hooked up to the the normal dispenser that goes on the sink and we also have a link to the icemaker. We started noticing that the water pressure was getting low out of the RO water dispenser and the ice cubes were coming out hollow. We changed all the filters and it seemed to work real well for a few days. We are now back to very low pressure and hollow icecubes. We checked the H2O in supply line and there are no problems there. We pulled each of the connections off and cleaned the lines. No visible problems there. The supply tank doesn't seem to be filling all the way either.
Any ideas?

Same problem

We have the same problem. The system makes a constant hissing sound.

A couple of things to check:

A: is there water going tot he drain? Pull the tubing off at the drain and check. If not, it may be a clogged cap tube assembly which is cheap enough and easy to replace.

B: Air pressure in the tank. Drain the system completely and use a low pressure gauge on the storage tank to check the PSI. I would probably use a 6 to 8 lb setting on a tank under the sink.

Let me know how you make out with those 2. They're not really in order. I usually check air pressure first but if it's not filling then I would check A before B. If it IS filling but not delivering then I'd go to B first.
