Exstream XR Answer
The Exstream XR actually has 3 points of filtration. The Cyst Filter which is 1 micron, and the Carbon Pre-filter which is 1 micron, and then the ViruStat Water Purification Cartridge which actually kills anything under 1 micron with it's patented 46% iodine solution.
