Hey all!
I'm new to the RO scene, but I am very interested in getting an RO system for my drinking water. I am considering an under the sink model, but I would like to know what to look for in brand, stages etc... I have researched some and know to look for standard filter size etc, but I would like to hear from people who actually are running these systems, and can advise as well as recommend a certain brand or style. Thanks in advance for any help. John |

What is the water quality of your source water? Are you on well or city water? Do you have an ice-maker?
What do you mean by standard filters? Consider units that have an NSF certification. There are some with very nice designer faucets. The tank size may be limited due to putting it under the sink. Do you have a basement where the unit can be placed? Water production and reject rate can vary widely with many units. Some have membrane or delivery pumps which can improve performance tremendously. Have you had your water tested either by a local professioanl or a board of health? Andy Christensen, CWS-II |
