I have a Coralife Pureflo 2 that is installed directly in line with water supply.I have changed the micron 3 times in the 8 months I have had it.3 on Charcoal.
I had to change the DI Filter as well,totally clogged.I have about a 5-10 GPD flow out of a 50GPD.Was told that the Membrane is bad.I have only had this for 7-8 months.Use it for Salt Water Tanks.Should this happen with the membrane in 7-8 months of about a total of 2000 to 3000 gal. put thru it?
(no I never flushed membrane)I use City/Town Water.Not sure of pressure of water,but never ran too fast from start...(Pure-Flo II 50 GPD RO unit, Thin Film Composite (TFC) membrane, 1 micron filter cartridge, Carbon block filter cartridge and Deionization Cartridge. 50 Gallons per day RO/DI unit.
