Hello All,
Sorry for not getting back quickly. I wanted to post so everyone could use this as a lessons learned. To recap, I was getting major...
It makes little sense to rebuild the valve and not replace the springs. They are pretty cheap. Hey AK, Andy, entire threads have now gone missing LOL.
I agree with you there actually. Truth be told I was more wrapped up in finding a way to operate the softener than the rest of the system. Good call.
Seems like you might be agitating here eh....
So since you are so convinced that a few hours is going to destroy the resin, what is your recommendation for the OP?
Score one for Kinetico.
I agree, that a softener will take care of the iron and manganese. do I understand that you will be treating the water and then dumping it into a cistern for later use? At any rate, unless you have...
its spam andy
Many many things have changed from the way we used to do things. ASSME recommends water heaters be set to 160 and tempering valves be installed at each fixture. Expensive but effective.
Code is either 120 or 130 new
You finally are getting around to replying on a post made back in April? LOL
Are you just bored or something? Ever thought of fishing or golf?
I like to be mentioned, but since I don't post...
Driller, he's off his meds again and looking for arguments anywhere he can. Why bother?
He doesn't like the WQA because he's not a member (probably got thrown out) The assurance that all WQA...
You have something personal to say to me then why not do it in a PM rather than subject everyone else to your child like behavior? Pissed off because nobody is defending your assinine posts over...
saving a buck no doubt :D
I would raise the pump first just because it's the least expensive thing to try but beware that if the well is producing silt it will only be a matter of time before the case fills and you are right...
That's OK, Clack won't sell you valves anymore LOL
You may be able to put a sock on the pump. These filter pretty fine particles and should protect the pump
Raise the pump first. Pumping sand is bad for the pump and it gets into the pressure tank and the pressure switch.
Unfortunately, because you are a junior member I can not PM you, nor you me. I suspect there is more here than meets the eye. I note that you have also posted on another forum, looking for advice...
well, maybe so. I don't know and to be honest, don't really care. It appears that Clack is going to follow through with their policy and that will most likely be the end of it. I have never had a...
I may have had my issues with Gary, but issues aside I have no doubt that he does a very good job of servicing his customers. A quick Google check of either his name or his company pretty much...
I can make some guesses and so can you, but what you really need to do is have a water test done. Take the sample from a point before the filters.
We had a similar arraingement with Roto-Rooter before I found out they were stiffing us and then we went into drain cleaning ourselves.
Well, what can I say that has not all been said before. If it makes you happy to believe the things you do than by all means, keep on keeping on.
Again, please post some proof, some real numbers. Until then it's just your opinion.
As for the secret side of the Clack valve. It's online in Clacks web site. There aint nothing secret about...
Well then, that sums it up then. It must be true. several thousand customers all with plumber/well driller problems. What a world, what a world
If it were possible, and I doubt it...
