What Would Cause Rust Stains In A Toilet That Had A Faulty Fill Valve? After Running For About Two Weeks The Toilet Bowl And Tank Was Coated With Rust Stains! The Building Has All Plastic Pvc Pipes.also The Toilet Tank Has All Plastic Pieces Inside....ie. Fill Valve, Flapper ,etc.
Also The Adjcent Lavatory To This One Shares The Same Water Supply And The Toilet Is Clean (no Rust Stains)any Thought?
Are you on city water or well water? If it is city water, what city are you in? Does the tank on the other lavatory without the visible stains have stains or is it stain free inside the tank as well? Thanks!
