corroded faucets

I have well water with softener. The connection (bronze) on 2 faucets have corroded through and started leaking. Also if I have not used faucets for long time the water comes out with a slight black color. I also have had a bronze fitting corrode through and started leaking. The faucets are 10 years old the fiiting is 2 years old. The water was tested ok.

Have you tested for manganese, sulfur and langelier index? Let me back up. What was tested that tested "ok". I assumed PH was part of the "ok" aspect.

The water was tested for PH (fell between high and low) and hardness. Thats all.

What were the results of each?
