    Default Suggestions for water testing?

Any recomendations on where to have water tested, how much to pay, and what to look for in the service provider?

I have seen this from watercheck.com / ntl labs

A little pricey, I don't know how concerned i should be about some of the components of the test since I have well water. I do not have any major issues, I am just looking to improve a few aspects of it.

Doctor, which medicine should I take?

First determine what you want to be tested for. Most areas have a County Health Board that can offer basic tests for health issues (e. coli, coliform), often at no or little cost.

A local water professional can test for aesthetic problems such as hardness, iron, etc. almost always for free.

As with any testing, additional and more complicated tests can be performed with some cost, and time factors.

What symptoms are you experiencing that warrants a water test? Are you just curious or truly concerned? Sometimes basic tests can reveal major problems and further testing may be recommended.
