I totally agree with Patty. the new click adapter DOES NOT WORK. I am so happy to see that I am not the only one with issue with the cheap plastic click adapter. I let PUR know I was having problems and they acted like I was the only one. They sent me new plastic adapters but didn't tell me the old style was still available to be had. Thank you Filtersfast.com

Non Click Adapter Rocks

I love this older version of the water filter. The new click adapter did not work for me. When you are not using the filter and running hot water through the bypass, it heats up the metal and the plastic click fitting cannot support the weight of the filter and drops off in the sink. I prefer this model because the filter is threaded onto the aerator adapter and stays put.
