I'm not sure how the other reviewer got four replacements out of his 'big sheet'. I got 1 with a portion left over. The material is definitely carbon infused but I noticed that it's not as tight a weave as Hunters and is thicker. It seems to be working so at the comparative price point I certainly can't complain.

Hunter 30901 Carbon Filter Replacement

I received an enormous sheet of the charcoal filter which I cut to fit. The charcoal filter was enough to cut into 4 replacement filters.
A very high quality substitute for the Hunter Filter. When you consider I was able to get 4 filters out of the sheet, it comes to 25% of the price of the original.
