We have bought other water filters in the past G.E. & Whirlpool mainly. The G.E. claimed to remove a lot of stuff but they always leaked. We tried 3 or 4 before we gave up. The Whirlpool didn't filter any more than my boot sock, which we didn't realize at first. Then we went on the internet & discovered Pentek, we studied their product info & were pleased with the amount & type of stuff they filtered out. We bought the QC10-CBRR. we are very happy with the ease of installation & positive, solid, waterline connections compared to the Mickey Mouse connections G.E. has. we waited some time before writing our review to prove the Pentek worked as claimed. Thanks for a great product!
