RS2-Omnifilter String Filter

We bought the 2-pack of Omnifilter RS2-DS2 filters about 3 months ago for our new home. Because installation appeared intimidating, I avoided tackling the job until about 8:45 p.m. one evening. Lo and behold, I had the filter cover off, old filter out, cleaned the plastic housing with bottled water 'cause main valve to house was, of course, shut off, removed old O-ring/greased & installed new O-ring, inserted new filter & put unit back together in no more than about ten minutes!
As advide (& if applicable on your particular model), make sure you turn filter to the OFF position as you remove plastic housing for filter so you don't get water on floor like I did. No problem since it was a small amount but if I'd followed instructions to the letter I wouldn't have lost a drop of the precious stuff!
