How do you install the AprilAire 80?

1. Turn the unit off, and wait 4 minutes. The water will drain.
2. Turn power off at the breaker, and remove all three wires connected to the AprilAire 80 canister.
3. Discard the insert prior to installation. Disconnect and remove the steam hose.
4. Inspect the drain and remove debris.
5. Remove the o-ring from the drain valve, and use the new o-ring that comes packaged with the new AprilAire 80 canister.
   • Moisten the new o-ring with water before installing.
6. Insert strainer into the new AprilAire 80 canister. Turn the canister so the label faces out.
7. Reattach the steam hose and the high water pin & electrode wires.
8. Turn the power back on at the breaker, and turn unit on.
