I don't work for the bureaucratic trghnmaie called EPA, but I do know a thing or two about ground water resources and hydrology. So I will answer a few selected questions 3. Water is the one essential building block of life and all society, so yes protection of water resources, both quantity and quality, is critical.4. Consumers. You can't blame the farms, factories, and oil refineries, as they are only providing the goods that consumers demand. For example, the average US consumer demands bleached white toilet paper, and bleaching pulp products contributes large amounts of non-biodegradeable toxins into our water supplies and oceans.7. yes becuase it is impossible to prevent migration of the pollution.9. yes, as bottled water also contains traces of toxins. Prodcution and disposal of plastic bottles is a huge problems.12. stop buying bottled water (at least in disposable bottles), avoid buying bleached paper products14. activated charcoal filters do a great job at eliminating or reducing chlorine and THM's from water15. consumer18. filtered water19. just don't drown
