The DuPont WFCH2 Undersink Whole House Filtration System is an alternative. Please confirm specifications before ordering.

The DuPont WFHD13001B is the correct system that uses the following cartridges:

  • Dupont WFHDC3001 Filter Cartridge
  • Dupont WFHDC8001 Filter Cartridge

The DuPont WFHD13001B Whole House Filtration System is designed to increase clarity in your home's water by reducing sediment that helps to extend the life of your water using appliances. Also known as part number WFHD13001B, this universal heavy duty whole house system will withstand up to 100 psi water pressure. If the water supply pressure in your home is higher than 100 psi, it is recommended that you install a pressure reducing valve before your system is installed.

DuPont Universal Whole House Filtration System Specifications:

  • Part WFHDC3001
  • 3-year limited warranty
  • 1" inlets and outlets for greater water flow
  • Includes wrench and pleated poly cartridge
  • Long-lasting cartridges up to 30,000 gallons
  • Filters broad range of sediment concentrations
  • Does not include a mounting bracket or alternative fasteners
  • Do not use water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality

This Dupont WFHD13001B Filtration System should not be used with water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe, without proper disinfection before or after the system. This filtration system is certified for cyst reduction, but is not designed to filter sulfur, which gives you that rotten egg odor. Use of carbon filters to treat sulfur may only intensify that taste and odor problem.

Usage and the water quality in your incoming water line will affect the life of your cartridge filter. This determines when your cartridge should be replaced. If you detect that your water pressure at the faucet begins to drop or the cartridge fails to perform properly, then it's time to replace your cartridge. Do not install your whole house filtration system where it will be exposed to direct sunlight. Protect your filter from freezing, which could cause your filter to crack and leak water.
