This sediment water filter is made of 100% polypropylene that is used in a variety of applications for residential, industrial, commercial and food services. It is resistant to chemicals and reduces waterborne contaminants such as rust, silt, sediment and sand. The graded density of the Hydronix 19-7/8" inch polypropylene water cartridge provides higher dirt holding capacity over your standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. It is used as pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon (GAC) filters. The SDC-25-2005 Water Filter Cartridge is surfactant free, binder free and adhesive free.
